8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Program
Jonathan Wright - Owner, The Wright Agency

Program Overview: Networking is a skill. And like any skill, it can be learned. No matter the field you are in or the goal ahead, networking is a force to be reckoned with when utilizing it in your life and career. To think that any task, large or small, can be made so much smoother with the right team around you is a way to think about how networking can assist you. HR professional networking is assembling your squad, meeting the next power contact for your company or brand, and moving through the web of humans around all of us to better our chances of success.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define networking and its strategic importance as a human resource professional
  • Explore the three levels of networking (company, self, and craft/career)
  • Apply a networking framework to build strategic relationships within and outside of the organization
  • Incorporate goal setting and reflection to achieve and inspire intentional human connection

Presenter: Jonathan Wright - Owner, The Wright Agency

Born and raised in Downingtown, PA, Jonathan is a 4th generation independent insurance agent that owns and operates his family business. The Wright Agency insures over 3,000 clients across two states. The family business has grown by leaps and bounds under his leadership since 2015. Jonathan attributes much of that success to his dedication and focus on Business Networking. Now, as a husband and father of 2 young children, Jonathan is diversifying his business activities to include angel investing, real estate investing and public speaking. At his public speaking engagements, the message always centers around the power of networking in both business and life. With an upcoming book about networking and a much anticipated web-based platform to share resources and knowledge on its way, Jonathan is all in on sharing his passion for “Getting Plugged In” with others.

This session has been submitted for recertification credits with SHRM and HRCI.  Chapter members in good standing with their dues and non-members that have paid the nominal fee will receive these credits.
