DESCRIPTION/COURSE OVERVIEW

In today’s diverse and fast-paced work environments, building a strong workplace culture is essential for success. This workshop will explore the key elements of psychological safety—the workforce’s #1 most desired trait and a hallmark of high-performing teams. Participants will gain practical strategies for fostering a culture rooted in respect, understanding, and open communication. By aligning workplace practices with mission, vision, and values, we will discuss how to create an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered. A positive workplace outlook has been shown to increase performance by 31%, making it a crucial component of organizational success. Join us for an engaging discussion on how to implement thoughtful, human-centered approaches that drive meaningful change and enhance team performance.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Recognize and understand the influences of workplace culture and individual perceptions on workplace culture.
  • Gain an understanding of some basic and practical strategies to foster open communication, enhance respect and understanding, and create an environment where team members feel valued, seen, and heard.
  • Learn how one organization has created a performance process that aligns workplace culture expectations with performance management.

SPEAKER BIO

Beck Moore has over two decades of leadership experience in the non-profit sector. Currently, Beck serves as the CEO of the Community Action Association of Pennsylvania (CAAP), working to strengthen, advocate for, and empower the network of 43 Community Action Agencies, serving every county in the Commonwealth to effectively address issues of poverty and uniquely addressing Social Determinants of Health. Drawing from personal experiences, Beck is deeply committed to exploring how identity, geography, and health intersect within the context of poverty in Pennsylvania.

bers in good standing with their dues and non-members that have paid the nominal fee will receive these credits if in attendance for a minimum of 50 minutes of the program.
